The Concordia Academy Beacons volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Zumbrota-Mazeppa Cougars to 1 in the Beacons non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Beacons now have a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Hastings for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 6. Concordia Academy will play a Raiders team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Chatfield (Chatfield, MN). The Raiders record now stands at 1-3.

The Cougars (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Stewartville (Stewartville, MN). The Tigers go into the Hiawatha Valley game with a 6-1 record. In their last game, Stewartville nudged Kenyon-Wanamingo (Kenyon, MN), 3-0, in a non-league game.
