In Saturday's non-league test, the host Forsyth Central Bulldogs volleyball squad scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the DeSoto Central Jaguars.

The Bulldogs now have a 11-13 record. They play next when they travel to Carrollton for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 6. Forsyth Central will play a Trojans team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Ringgold (Ringgold, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 9-11.

With the loss, DeSoto Central drops to 14-7 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Pleasant Valley (Jacksonville, AL) to play the Raiders in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 6.
