September 6, 2025: New Orleans, LA 70125 Dutchtown Griffins (Geismar, LA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Eleanor McMain Mustangs (New Orleans, LA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Dutchtown improves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Griffins travel to St. Michael (Baton Rouge, LA) to meet the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 8. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 6-0. St. Michael won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Denham Springs (Denham Springs, LA)
Next, the Mustangs meet the Booker T. Washington Lions (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. Eleanor McMain will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to St. Charles Catholic (LaPlace, LA).
