California High School Volleyball - Gahr can't get by Lakewood
September 6, 2025: Cerritos, CA 90703 Lakewood Lancers (Lakewood, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Gahr Gladiators (Cerritos, CA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Lakewood improves its record to 1-9 on the season. The Lancers travel to Long Beach Poly (Long Beach, CA) to meet the Jackrabbits in a Moore challenge on Tuesday, September 9. The Jackrabbits come into the challenge with a record of 10-3. Long Beach Poly won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Jordan (Long Beach, CA)
In their next game, the Gladiators face the Western Christian Fighting Lancers (Upland, CA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 6. Gahr will attempt to advance on its 8-5 season record. The Fighting Lancers go into the test with a 12-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Calvary Chapel (Santa Ana, CA).
