Oregon High School Volleyball - Gresham over Jefferson
September 6, 2025: Portland, OR 97217 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Gresham Gophers (Gresham, OR) and the host Jefferson Democrats (Portland, OR), observed Gresham's volleyball team top Jefferson by a count of 2-0.
The Gophers (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Nelson (Happy Valley, OR). The enter the 6A Mt. Hood contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Nelson was knocked off by Jesuit (Portland, OR), 2-1, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Democrats battle the McDaniel Mountain Lions (Portland, OR) in a 6A Portland Interscholastic battle, on Monday, September 8. Jefferson will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Mountain Lions go into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Mountainside (Beaverton, OR).
