The West Aurora Blackhawks edged the visiting Kaneland Knights volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Blackhawks face the Geneva Vikings (Geneva, IL) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, September 11. West Aurora will attempt to better on its 6-5 season record.

With the loss, Kaneland drops to 3-8 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Yorkville (Yorkville, IL) to play the Foxes in a non-league outing on Monday, September 8. The Foxes come into the outing with a record of 2-5. Yorkville lost 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL)
