Lake Country Lutheran Lightning (Hartland, WI) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Pacelli Cardinals (Stevens Point, WI), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Lightning (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Laconia (Rosendale, WI). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Laconia beat St. Mary's Springs (Fond du Lac, WI), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cardinals meet the Laconia Spartans (Rosendale, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 6. Pacelli will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Spartans go into the test with a 3-0 record after their 3-0 league win over St. Mary's Springs (Fond du Lac, WI).
