September 6, 2025: Elgin, IL 60123 Walther Christian Academy Broncos (Melrose Park, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Larkin Royals (Elgin, IL), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Walther Christian Academy improves its record to 8-4 on the season. The Broncos travel to Cristo Rey St. Martin (Waukegan, IL) to face the CRSM in a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. The CRSM go into the test with a record of 1-2. Cristo Rey St. Martin lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Waukegan (Waukegan, IL)
Next, the Royals meet the Woodlands Academy Wildcats (Lake Forest, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 6. Larkin will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Islamic Foundation (Villa Park, IL).
