In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Liberal Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Uniontown Eagles.

The Bulldogs (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Northeast Vernon County (Walker, MO). The Knights go into the Class 1 District 11 challenge with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Eagles meet the Prairie View Buffalos (La Cygne, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 8. Uniontown will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Buffalos go into the test with a 1-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Humboldt (Humboldt, KS).
