With the win, Sam Houston improves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Broncos travel to Captain Shreve (Shreveport, LA) to meet the Gators in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 13. The Gators enter the challenge with a record of 3-3. Captain Shreve lost 3-2 in their recent league challenge against Haughton (Haughton, LA)
The Bulldogs now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Destrehan for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. Lutcher will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Denham Springs (Denham Springs, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-4.
