September 6, 2025: Mena, AR 71953 Valley View Blazers (Jonesboro, AR) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Mena Bearcats (Mena, AR), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Valley View improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Blazers travel to Harrisburg (Harrisburg, AR) to play the Hornets in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 6. The Hornets come into the outing with a record of 1-2. Harrisburg won 3-0 in their recent league game against Manila (Manila, AR)
The Bearcats (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Arkadelphia (Arkadelphia, AR). The Badgers go into the 4A 6 game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, Arkadelphia gained a win over Robinson (Little Rock, AR), 3-0, in a non-league game.
