Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Milpitas Trojans (Milpitas, CA) and the visiting Santa Cruz Cardinals (Santa Cruz, CA), observed Milpitas's volleyball team hold off Santa Cruz by a tally of 2-1.

The Trojans (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Palo Alto (Palo Alto, CA). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Palo Alto was tipped by Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton, CA), 3-2, in a non-league contest.
