Virginia City Muckers (Virginia City, NV) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Mineral County Serpents (Hawthorne, NV), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Virginia City improves its record to 1-4 on the season. The Muckers travel to Excel Christian (Sparks, NV) to face the Warriors in a 1A Western challenge on Friday, September 19. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 1-2.

Next, the Serpents meet the Pyramid Lake Lakers (Nixon, NV) in a 1A Western challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Mineral County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record.
