The Montrose Red Hawks (Montrose, CO) volleyball held off the visiting Pueblo West Cyclones (Pueblo West, CO), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Red Hawks now possess a 6-0 record. They play next when they travel to Palisade for a 4A/5A Southwestern bout on Tuesday, September 9. Montrose will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Delta (Delta, CO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Pueblo West drops to 6-1 on the campaign. The Cyclones host Vista Ridge (Colorado Springs, CO) to confront the Wolves in a 5A CSML match on Thursday, September 11. The Wolves enter the match with a record of 1-4. Vista Ridge lost 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Canon City (Canon City, CO)
