With the win, St. Ansgar improves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Saints travel to North Butler (Greene, IA) to battle the Bearcats in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 9. The Bearcats enter the contest with a record of 4-4. North Butler won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Central Springs (Manly, IA)
Next, the Chickasaws battle the MFL MarMac Bulldogs (Monona, IA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 11. New Hampton will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 4-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Maquoketa Valley (Delhi, IA).
