The Valley Christian Defenders volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Orange Lutheran Lancers to 1 in the Defenders non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Defenders now have a 15-2 record. They play next when they travel to Los Alamitos for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 6. Valley Christian will play a Griffins team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over South Hills (West Covina, CA). The Griffins record now stands at 10-4.

With the loss, Orange Lutheran drops to 9-2 on the campaign. The Lancers host El Dorado (Placentia, CA) to play the Golden Hawks in a non-league game on Tuesday, September 9.
