In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Trinity Christian Academy Titans volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Somerset Briar Jumpers.

The Titans (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Woodford County (Versailles, KY). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Woodford County gained a win over Collins (Shelbyville, KY), 3-1, in a league test.

The Briar Jumpers now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Casey County for a District 47 test on Tuesday, September 9. Somerset will face a Rebels squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Rockcastle County (Mt. Vernon, KY). The Rebels record now stands at 5-5.
