Game Summary
The Iroquois Lady Chiefs won their game against West Seneca by shut out 2-0. While the offense managed only 2 goals on a whopping 14 shots, the defense and goalie Hayden Herbold held the West Seneca squad to only 4 shots on net and Hayden turned them all away to register he 2nd shutout of the season.
Sam Current scored the first goal on a full-field breakaway after a nifty pass from Alex Robillard. Later in the 4th quarter Sam sent a short pass across the net after a WS save and Ava Trzepacz put it away neatly for her first goal of the season.
Ava Vergien had a great game on defense, constantly interrupting opposition passes and starting Iroquois drives.
