The Mountain Island Charter Raptor soccer squad (Mt. Holly, NC), was nudged 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC)

The Cardinals (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC). The Stallions come into the Metro Eight 1A battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Queen's Grant nudged Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC), 3-1, in a league battle.
