Kansas High School Soccer - Hutchinson nudges West
September 7, 2022: Wichita, KS 67213 Hutchinson Salthawks (Hutchinson, KS) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host West Pioneers (Wichita, KS), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Salthawks face the East Aces (Wichita, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 10. Hutchinson will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Aces enter the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Manhattan (Manhattan, KS).
The Pioneers now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Salina Central for a non-league challenge on Sunday, September 11. West will face a Mustangs team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Hays (Hays, KS). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-4.
