September 7, 2022: Sumner, WA 98390 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Kentlake Falcons (Kent, WA) and the host Sumner Spartans (Sumner, WA), saw Kentlake's volleyball squad nip Sumner by a tally of 3-2.
With the win, Kentlake upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Falcons host Gig Harbor (Gig Harbor, WA) to play the Tides in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 13. The Tides go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Gig Harbor lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Curtis (University Place, WA)
The Spartans now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Kentwood for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 8. Sumner will play a Conquerors squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Emerald Ridge (South Hill, WA). The Conquerors record now stands at 0-1.
