In Thursday's non-league game, the Methodist Children's Home Bulldogs (Waco, TX) football team were victorious over the host Calvert Trojans (Calvert, TX), by a score of 56-33.

The Bulldogs (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Sterling Classical (Leander, TX). The Soldiers come into the TCAF District 1 (6 Man) game with a 0-0 record.

The Trojans now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host BVCHEA HomeSchool for a non-league game on Friday, September 15. Calvert will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 48-0 non-league win over Legacy Christian Academy (Beaumont, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-0.
