September 7, 2023: Herndon, VA 20170 The South Lakes Seahawks topped the host Herndon Hornets volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Seahawks now have a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chantilly for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 12. South Lakes will confront a Chargers team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to West Springfield (Springfield, VA). The Chargers record now stands at 1-1.
The Hornets (0-3) will now prepare for their test against McLean (McLean, VA). The Highlanders enter the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, McLean gained a win over Wakefield School (The Plains, VA), 25-10, in a non-league test.
