September 7, 2023: Eden, NC 27288 The Morehead Panthers football team (Eden, NC), was ripped 43-6 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Williams Bulldogs (Burlington, NC)
The Bulldogs (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Southern Alamance (Graham, NC). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Southern Alamance trounced Southern Nash (Bailey, NC), 34-22, in a non-league challenge.
The Panthers now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rockingham County for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 11. Morehead will meet a Cougars team coming off a 56-0 non-league loss to Reidsville (Reidsville, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 0-2.
