September 7, 2023: Converse, IN 46919 The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Oak Hill Golden Eagles (Converse, IN) and the visiting Eastern Comets (Greentown, IN), saw Oak Hill's soccer squad triumph over Eastern by a margin of 8-0.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Hamilton Southeastern for a non-league test on Saturday, September 9. Oak Hill will meet a Royals squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Harrison (West Lafayette, IN). The Royals record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Eastern drops to 0-2 on the season. The Comets travel to Jay County (Portland, IN) to meet the Patriots in a non-league test on Friday, September 22. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 1-0.
