September 7, 2023: Geneva, IL 60134 The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL) and the host Geneva Vikings (Geneva, IL), saw Lockport's soccer squad get by Geneva by a margin of 4-3.
The Porters now sport a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Joliet Central for a non-league test on Saturday, September 9. Lockport will meet a Steelmen squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Hinsdale South (Darien, IL). The Steelmen record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Geneva drops to 4-3 on the season. The Vikings host West Aurora (Aurora, IL) to meet the Blackhawks in a non-league test on Saturday, September 9.
