North Carolina High School Soccer - Metrolina Christian Academy nudges Monroe

September 7, 2023: Indian Trail, NC 28079

Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors (Indian Trail, NC) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Warriors confront the Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 8. Metrolina Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Carmel Christian (Matthews, NC).

The Redhawks now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Piedmont for a Rocky River 2A/3A challenge on Monday, September 11. Monroe will confront a Panthers team coming off a 9-0 league win over Anson (Wadesboro, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 5-0.
