September 7, 2023: Woodstock, GA 30189 Woodstock Wolverines (Woodstock, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Creekview Grizzlies (Canton, GA), 6-3 in a league challenge.
The Wolverines now own a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they host Allatoona for a 6A Region 6 challenge on Monday, September 11. Woodstock will battle a Buccaneers squad coming off a 5-3 league loss to Etowah (Woodstock, GA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 6-9.
With the loss, Creekview falls to 7-5 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to North Gwinnett (Suwanee, GA) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 9. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 11-2.
