Elgin Owls (Elgin, OK) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Lexington Bulldogs (Lexington, OK), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Owls now own a 15-2 record. They take the field next when they host Navajo for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 8. Elgin will battle a Indians squad coming off a 8-1 league win over Fletcher (Fletcher, OK). The Indians record now stands at 13-3.
