September 7, 2023: Claymont, DE 19703 The Smyrna Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Archmere Academy Auks to 1 in the Eagles non-league victory on Thursday.
The Eagles now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Indian River for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 12.
The Auks (0-1) will now prepare for their game against MOT Charter (Middletown, DE). The Mustangs enter the Diamond State game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, MOT Charter gained a win over Mount Pleasant (Wilmington, DE), 3-0, in a non-league game.
