September 7, 2023: West Blocton, AL 35184 The Bibb County Choctaws volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host West Blocton Tigers to 1 in the Choctaws league victory on Thursday.
The Choctaws now have a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Montevallo for a 4A Area 6 game on Tuesday, September 12. Bibb County will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Thorsby (Thorsby, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-8.
The Tigers (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Paul W. Bryant (Cottondale, AL). The Stampede enter the non-league game with a 6-13 record. In their last game, Paul W. Bryant dropped by Hueytown (Hueytown, AL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
