In Thursday's non-league contest, the Shamokin Area Indians (Coal Township, PA) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Hughesville Spartans (Hughesville, PA), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Indians battle the Lewisburg Green Dragons (Lewisburg, PA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 12. Shamokin Area will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record.
