Virginia High School Volleyball - Wakefield School tips King Abdullah Academy
September 7, 2023: Herndon, VA 20171 In Thursday's non-league contest, the Wakefield School Fighting Owls (The Plains, VA) volleyball squad nudged the host King Abdullah Academy Falcons (Herndon, VA), by a margin of 3-2.
Next up, the Fighting Owls face the Quantico Warriors (Quantico, VA) in a Greater Piedmont contest, on Tuesday, September 12. Wakefield School will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 league loss to Tandem Friends (Charlottesville, VA).
With the loss, King Abdullah Academy moves to 1-5 on the year. The Falcons travel to St. Stephen's & St. Agnes (Alexandria, VA) to encounter the Saints in a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 13. The Saints come into the battle with a record of 0-2.
