September 7, 2023: Sultan, WA 98294 The Sultan Turks volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Mt. Baker Mountaineers to 0 in the Turks non-league victory on Thursday.
The Turks now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mariner for a non-league game on Monday, September 11. Sultan will meet a Marauders team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Cascade (Everett, WA). The Marauders record now stands at 0-2.
The Mountaineers (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA). The Wildcats enter the 1A/2A/3A Northwest game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Oak Harbor was dropped by Meridian (Bellingham, WA), 3-1, in a league game.
