North Carolina High School Volleyball - R-S Central Patton

September 7, 2023: Rutherfordton, NC 28139

The Patton Panthers topped the host R-S Central Hilltoppers volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's league test.

The Panthers now have a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Freedom for a non-league test on Monday, September 11. Patton will confront a Patriots team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over NCSSM: Morganton (Morganton, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 3-8.

The Hilltoppers (2-7) will now prepare for their test against East Rutherford (Forest City, NC). The Cavaliers enter the Mountain Foothills Seven 1A/2A test with a 8-3 record. In their last test, East Rutherford gained a win over Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC), 3-1, in a league test.
