September 7, 2023: Panorama City, CA 91402 In Thursday's league contest, the St. Genevieve Valiants (Panorama City, CA) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting St. Paul Swordsmen (Santa Fe Springs, CA), by a margin of 3-1.
Next up, the Valiants face the La Salle Lancers (Pasadena, CA) in a Camino Real contest, on Tuesday, September 12. St. Genevieve will attempt to better on its 3-8 season record. The Lancers go into the contest with a 6-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary (Montebello, CA).
With the loss, St. Paul moves to 2-6 on the year. The Swordsmen host Capistrano Valley Christian (San Juan Capistrano, CA) to face the Eagles in a non-league contest on Friday, September 8. The Eagles go into the contest with a record of 12-1. Capistrano Valley Christian won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Tarbut V' Torah (Irvine, CA)
