September 7, 2023: Lillington, NC 27546 The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC) and the host Western Harnett Eagles (Lillington, NC), saw Triton's volleyball squad beat Western Harnett by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Triton upgrades its record to 7-2 on the year. The Hawks host C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC) to play the Golden Falcons in a non-league bout on Monday, September 11. The Golden Falcons go into the bout with a record of 7-3. C.B. Aycock won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Fike (Wilson, NC)
The Eagles now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they travel to Southern Lee for a non-league bout on Monday, September 11. Western Harnett will play a Cavaliers squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Hoke County (Raeford, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-6.
