Washington High School Football - Chief Sealth sneaks past Bellingham
September 7, 2024: Seattle, WA 98126 The Chief Sealth Seahawks football squad scored 10 points and limited the visiting Bellingham Bayhawks to 7 in the Seahawks non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Seahawks now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Franklin for a 3A Metro - Sound test on Friday, September 13. Chief Sealth will meet a Quakers squad coming off a 16-13 non-league loss to Garfield (Seattle, WA). The Quakers record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Bellingham drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bayhawks travel to Lakewood (Arlington, WA) to meet the Cougars in a 2A/3A Northwest test on Friday, September 13. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 0-1. Lakewood lost 48-24 in their recent league test against Archbishop Murphy (Everett, WA)
