September 7, 2024: Memphis, TN The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Hillcrest Vikings (Memphis, TN) and the host Bluff City Gray Wolves (Memphis, TN), witnessed Hillcrest's football squad wallop Bluff City by a tally of 35-0.
The Vikings (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Christian Brothers (Memphis, TN). The Purple Wave enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Christian Brothers was trounced by Brentwood Academy (Brentwood, TN), 23-13, in a non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Gray Wolves battle the Mitchell Tigers (Memphis, TN) in a 2A Region 8 contest, on Thursday, September 12. Bluff City will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 3-0 record after their 46-0 league win over Oakhaven (Memphis, TN).
