New York High School Football - Highland sneaks past Briarcliff/Hamilton
September 7, 2024: Briarcliff Manor, NY The Highland Huskies football squad scored 24 points and limited the host Briarcliff/Hamilton to 21 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Huskies now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marlboro Central for a non-league test on Friday, September 13. Highland will meet a Dukes squad coming off a 39-3 non-league win over Spackenkill (Poughkeepsie, NY). The Dukes record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Briarcliff/Hamilton drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The travel to Irvington (Irvington, NY) to meet the Bulldogs in a Section 1 B test on Saturday, September 21. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 1-0. Irvington won 18-0 in their recent league test against Edgemont (Scarsdale, NY)
