September 7, 2024: Powers, OR 97466 The Powers Cruisers walloped the visiting Falls City Mountaineers football team by a score of 59-6 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Cruisers face the North Lake Cowboys (Silver Lake, OR) in a 1A Special District 2 - South (6 Man) challenge, on Saturday, September 21. Powers will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record.
The Mountaineers (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Eddyville (Eddyville, OR). The Eagles go into the 1A Special District 2 - North (6 Man) challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Eddyville bounced Gilchrist (Gilchrist, OR), 51-12, in a non-league challenge.
