The Sparrows Point Pointers football squad scored 33 points and limited the host Towson Generals to 18 in the Pointers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Pointers now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Eastern Tech for a non-league test on Friday, September 13. Sparrows Point will meet a Mavericks squad coming off a 48-6 non-league loss to Loch Raven (Towson, MD). The Mavericks record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Towson drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Generals host Lansdowne (Baltimore, MD) to meet the Vikings in a Baltimore County 3 test on Saturday, September 14.
