Ohio High School Soccer - Fairview knocks off Vermilion
September 7, 2024: Vermilion, OH 44089 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Fairview Warriors (Fairview Park, OH) and the host Vermilion Sailors (Vermilion, OH), saw Fairview's soccer squad triumph over Vermilion by a score of 6-1.
The Warriors (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Wellington (Wellington, OH). The Dukes enter the non-league battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Wellington was overwhelmed by Firelands (Oberlin, OH), 10-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Sailors confront the Port Clinton Redskins (Port Clinton, OH) in a Sandusky Bay battle, on Monday, September 9. Vermilion will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Redskins enter the battle with a 4-3 record after their 2-0 league loss to Perkins (Sandusky, OH).
