New Mexico High School Volleyball - West Mesa can't get by St. Michael's
September 7, 2024: Albuquerque, NM 87121 St. Michael's Horsemen (Santa Fe, NM) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, St. Michael's improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Horsemen travel to Sandia (Albuquerque, NM) to face the Matadors in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 17. The Matadors go into the test with a record of 3-2. Sandia lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM)
The Mustangs now own a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host La Cueva for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 17. West Mesa will face a Bears squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Bears record now stands at 1-1.
