New York High School Soccer - Troy nudged by Amsterdam
September 7, 2024: Amsterdam, NY 12010 Amsterdam Rams (Amsterdam, NY) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Troy Flying Horses (Troy, NY), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Amsterdam advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Rams host Scotia-Glenville (Scotia, NY) to clash with the Tartans in a Foothills Council- North test on Wednesday, September 11. The Tartans come into the test with a record of 0-2. Scotia-Glenville lost 7-0 in their recent non-league test against Bethlehem Central (Delmar, NY)
The Flying Horses now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Schalmont for a Colonial Council test on Tuesday, September 10. Troy will clash with a Sabres team coming off a 6-0 league win over Cohoes (Cohoes, NY). The Sabres record now stands at 2-0.
