September 7, 2024: Hampshire, IL 60140 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Hampshire Whip-Purs (Hampshire, IL) and the visiting DeKalb Barbs (DeKalb, IL), saw Hampshire's soccer squad knock off DeKalb by a score of 5-3.
The Whip-Purs (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Harvard (Harvard, IL). The Hornets enter the non-league battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Harvard tipped Cary-Grove (Cary, IL), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Barbs confront the Naperville North Huskies (Naperville, IL) in a DuPage Valley battle, on Tuesday, September 10. DeKalb will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Huskies enter the battle with a 5-0 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Benet Academy (Lisle, IL).
