Illinois High School Soccer - Payton College Prep toppled by Evanston
September 7, 2024: Evanston, IL 60201 Evanston Wildkits (Evanston, IL) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Payton College Prep Grizzlies (Chicago, IL), 7-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Evanston moves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Wildkits travel to Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL) to meet the Cougars in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 1-3. Vernon Hills lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Grant Community (Fox Lake, IL)
The Grizzlies now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Mather for a test on Monday, September 9.
