Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Nativity BVM toppled by Shamokin Area
September 7, 2024: Coal Township, PA 17866 Shamokin Area Indians (Coal Township, PA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Nativity BVM Green Wave (Pottsville, PA), 5-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Shamokin Area moves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Bloomsburg (Bloomsburg, PA) to clash with the Panthers in a PIAA District IV-A test on Monday, September 9. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 1-3. Bloomsburg 2-2 in their recent non-league test against Danville (Danville, PA)
The Green Wave now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Schuylkill Haven for a Schuylkill County 2 test on Tuesday, September 10. Nativity BVM will clash with a Hurricanes team coming off a 2-1 league win over Tri-Valley (Hegins, PA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 2-4.
