Georgia High School Softball - Kell bounces Troup County
September 7, 2024: LaGrange, GA 30241 The Kell Longhorns softball team scored 10 runs and held the host Troup County Tigers to 3 in the Longhorns non-league win on Saturday.
The Longhorns now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wheeler for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 10. Kell will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 13-1 league win over Marietta (Marietta, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-8.
With the loss, Troup County moves to 7-7 on the season. The Tigers host Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA) to confront the Bulldogs in a 3A Region 2 battle on Tuesday, September 10. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 9-5. Mary Persons won 14-0 in their recent league battle against Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA)
