September 7, 2024: Mt. Vernon, SD 57363 The Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans (Mt. Vernon, SD) volleyball knocked off the visiting Alcester-Hudson Cubs (Alcester, SD), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Titans now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Elk Point-Jefferson for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 7. Mt. Vernon/Plankinton will clash with a Huskies team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Dakota Valley (North Sioux City, SD). The Huskies record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Alcester-Hudson drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Cubs travel to Deubrook (White, SD) to clash with the Dolphins in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 7.
